About
About me:
My name is Courtney Adler and I am a nature lover who enjoys spending time in the woods.
I love the peace and quiet of the forest, and I find it to be a great place to relax and de-stress.
I have lived in a small village on the edge of Hardcastle Crags for more than 30 years and walk there almost daily.
I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the beauty of nature. I hope that my writing will inspire others to get out and explore the woods, and to learn to appreciate the natural world.
About Hardcastle crags:
Hardcastle Crags is a National Trust property in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It is a popular destination for walkers, climbers, and photographers.
The crags are made up of limestone, and there are over 1,000 different climbing routes. There are also several walking trails in the area, including the Pennine Way.
The crags are named after the Hardcastle family, who owned the land for centuries. The first recorded mention of the crags was in 1602, when they were described as "a wonderful place for the breeding of hawks."
In the 19th century, the crags became a popular destination for climbers. The first recorded ascent was in 1854, and the first guidebook to the crags was published in 1882.
Today, Hardcastle Crags is a popular destination for people of all ages. Visitors can enjoy the scenery, go for walks, climb, or simply relax in the peace and quiet.
